Short Course on The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis

In The Great Divorce, C. S. Lewis reimagines the venerable literary tradition of chronicling a journey through the underworld. As the narrator experiences Lewis’ imagined Hell and Heaven, he discovers truths beyond the literal reality of the places he visits— they are, after all, allegorical. What strikes the narrator most are the distinctive traits of the people (souls) he meets along the way, and the implications for those still on the mortal plane.

Join us this November and December for our short course on C.S. Lewis’ Book The Great Divorce. We are honored to be having Connie Bayliss join us to facilitate and teach this reading group short course!

We will begin meeting Tuesday evening, November 4 at 6:30pm at the BSC. This course will run for 4 gatherings: 11/4, 11/11, 12/2, and 12/9. Book copies provided.
