Breakfast & Conversation with Author and Scholar, Dr. Philip Fisk

We would love for you to join us for a drop-in continental breakfast with published author and Jonathan Edwards scholar, Dr. Philip Fisk on Friday, March 27! You are welcome to stop in at any point during this time to meet and speak with Dr. Fisk and glean from his wisdom. Any and all questions regarding Jonathan Edward, his life, and his legacy are welcome!

A bit about our Guest Speaker:

Phil is a follow of Jesus, author, and educator. In 1986, he earned an MDiv at the now former Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), Deerfield, IL and married Cynthia Adams. Phil and Cindy served for 32 years as missionaries in Belgium. For 16 years, they helped plant two churches in Flanders. In 2008, Phil completed a ThM in Historical Theology with Westminster Theological Seminary/Philadelphia-London program and moved from Ghent to Leuven to join the faculty of theology and begin teaching at the Evangelische Theologische Faculteit (ETF), Leuven. In 2015, Phil earned a PhD in Historical theology at ETF. In the Spring of 2025, Phil and Cindy relocated to south central Pennsylvania. He is currently Guest Associate Professor of Historical Theology, ETF, Leuven Belgium and also teaches a course on the Theology of Jonathan Edwards at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, MI. Phil and Cindy enjoy ten grandchildren with two more on the way. He is the author of Yesteryear’s Faith Seeking Understanding: New England Disputations on Providence; With a Historical-Theological Introduction (2022); A Book of Faith Seeking Understanding: Fifty-Two Lord’s Day Readings (2021) and, Jonathan Edwards’s Turn from the Classic-Reformed Tradition of Freedom of the Will (2016).
