It’s a long-standing tradition at the Bradley Study Center to host these gatherings where we ask Christian faculty about their faith and their life in Virginia Tech.
Come hear from Christian faculty members Samantha Kenyon (Aerospace and Ocean Engineering), Bill Reynolds (Materials Science and Engineering), and Riley Fitzgerald (Aerospace and Ocean Engineering) talk about their faith and life in the university. Mark your calendar for a time of pizza and conversation with professors who follow Jesus in the world of higher education!
Walk-ins are welcome, but if you are planning to come, it would help so much if you would RSVP HERE so we can get enough pizza!
Dr. Bill Reynolds is professor and graduate program chair in the Materials Science and Engineering department at Virginia Tech, beginning in 2000 and specializing in physical metallurgy. His experience includes teaching as a visiting professor in Japan and serving as an elder at his local church in Blacksburg.
Before joining Virginia Tech’s Aerospace and Ocean Engineering department as research faculty in 2021, Dr. Samantha Kenyon tutored and researched at a variety of institutions and industries, including Grove City College, University of Florida, and the NASA Ames Research Center.
Dr. Riley Fitzgerald came to the Aerospace and Ocean Engineering department as associate professor in 2022. In addition to research expertise in areas like orbital mechanics, space systems, and mission design, he loves teaching in the classroom.
