“The Lonely American”

During this Evening Conversation with Senator Sasse and Russell Moore, we will examine the growing problem of loneliness in the country — the ways in which our alienation from each other is destroying individual lives and the fabric of society — and what can be done about it.

Ben Sasse is a U.S. Senator from Nebraska.  He taught at the University of Texas, served as an Assistant Secretary in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service, and president of Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska.

Russell Moore is the president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, the public-policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).  Moore previously served at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as dean of the School of Theology and professor of Christian theology and ethics.

This event is a live simulcast hosted by the Trinity Forum, an evangelical Christian non-profit organization that seeks to “cultivate, curate, and disseminate the best of Christian thought, to equip leaders to think, work, and lead wisely and well.”
